LéBUR #4 (04 edition, January 2006)
How is it possible to manage two different types of organizations: community organization or profit-oriented organization? You can observe the course taken by the two very different organizations, with A Visit To Tutup Ngisor Community, an article by Gunawan Maryanto and a story about Teater Koma: Theatre, Soap, and Usmar's pants, by Qaris Tajudin
This edition also presents discourse regarding the identity of Indonesian theatre, written by Michael Boden; an article by Ugoran Prasad about "I La Galigo" performed in Jakarta at the end of last year; and a review by Gunawan Maryanto on the realism style carried out by Teater Gardanalla in their production "Jalur 17". These articles expose interesting perspectives about theatre practices in Indonesia
LéBUR #3 (03 edition, July 2005)
In the third issue LéBUR is writing on a realistic theatre festival, fashion shows, universities graduations, and wayang kulit shadow play. There are also pieces dealing with a quite recollection of the late Roedjito, with Sardono publication, as well as an interview with Lik War, the "iron man" behind the screen of several art events.
LéBUR #2 (02 edition, August 2005)
Through its second edition, LéBUR is encouraging the reader to perceive a performance as an event, or to be more precise, a form of social event. However, there are many things that distinguish a performance event from other social events, let's check out Michael Kirby's article to arrive at the definition of the frame that constitutes a performance event
And speaking of audience, viewing how the audience has been silenced inside the performance discourse, this edition of Lebur issues three article on audience: Alia Swastika with her article on theatre audience, Nuraini Juliastuti with her review on art exhibition spectators and Antariksa on football supporters
Other articles include Ugoran Prasad's coverage and reflections on A la Carte Festival - a series of performance tour to 14 cities in Java and Bali during May-June 2004.
